Where does the Tuna Pro boat depart from?+
The usual departure point is the city harbor in Pula. Because bluefin tuna move around Istria, the boat may be relocated depending on current fishing conditions.
Is this a private tuna fishing charter?+
Yes. Most Tuna Pro tours are private charters. Shared charters may be available on request.
Is there a catch guarantee?+
No. There is never a catch guarantee in real big game fishing. However, Tuna Pro uses professional experience, current information, proven methods and serious equipment to create the best possible chance.
What is the best season for tuna fishing in Istria?+
The season starts at the beginning of March. Tuna usually leave for spawning areas around the end of May and return at the beginning of July. Fishing continues until the end of the year.
How many guests can join the tuna boat?+
Most tours are available for up to 6 persons, depending on the selected tour.

Tuna Pro uses professional big game equipment including 80 lb class rods, Shimano Tiagra 80 reels, hollow core and top shot setups, a fighting chair and sitting harness.
